But when a person leaves his own town, his friends and neighbors and sets out on the road, he exposes himself to a certain danger. If he is attacked, there will be less people who can come to his aid. If he is injured, it will take longer for him to reach a hospital. Therefore, wise men prepared the Prayer of the Road.
